About Us

Creating a sense of belonging for all in the workspace

We help organizations design, implement and realize the value of their inclusion initiatives

Our Story

Inclusifying implies a continuous sustained effort towards helping diverse teams feel engaged, empowered, accepted, and valued. It’s also the name of Dr. Stefanie K. Johnson’s best-selling book, as well as our namesake and reason for being.

Dr. Stefanie K. Johnson is an internationally-recognized author, professor, and keynote speaker who studies the intersection of leadership and diversity at the University of Colorado Boulder’s Leeds School of Business. Johnson consults with the world’s best companies to create more inclusive leaders.

Tanya N. Barnett is a leadership and diversity practitioner, who has launched three distinctive collegiate scholars programs. Most recently, Barnett launched the BE Tech Scholars program presented by Western Digital—with support from Fortune 500 companies including Deloitte, Dish, and Arrow—to develop a more inclusive tech industry for underrepresented business and engineering students at CU Boulder.

Iterate.ai—powered by a wicked smart, globally diverse team—is the world’s simplest, safest, and quickest way to get innovation done. Iterate’s platforms, Signals and Interplay, help companies such as CircleK, Ulta Beauty, and Pampered Chef utilize advanced technologies, including AI, to propel their digital innovation.

Johnson, Barnett, and Iterate.ai have been teaming up since 2018 on powerful initiatives such as a $23 billion proposal to expand women’s power and influence for the Equality Can’t Wait Challenge, to low-code upskilling, and conceptualizing an interactive dashboard with dynamic inclusion profiles. In 2021, they teamed up once more to found Inclusify.com—a first of its kind knowledge tech company on a mission to democratize data and create a sense of belonging for all in the workplace.

Our Mission

Ignite a movement that uses data driven strategies and shared accountability to create a sense of belonging for all in the workplace

Our Vision

Empower organizations to realize the value of building diverse, inclusive teams by democratizing data, technology and HR solutions

Our Values

Mission critical priorities that form the pillars of success for the Inclusify mission. These are the things Inclusifyers value, and the things about the status quo we are trying to change.

Research & Data

Over Highly Paid Opinions

Making the right decisions and advancing confidently means leveraging insights distilled from a blend of scientific evidence, category expertise and real world feedback, not just conceding to the ideas of the HiPPO in the room.

Uniqueness & Belonging

Over Meritocracy

The data proves it, meritocracy has had its day in the sun. The new dawn of belonging will reinvent the way we measure the productivity and success of diverse teams, leaders and organizations.

Meaningful Certification

Over Checked Boxes

Belonging should mean something more than checking boxes on a hiring spreadsheet. That's why we're developing the new standard in DIB Certification and a premier global recognition program that prioritizes progress over mandates.

Outcomes

Over Accolades

We believe that belonging can be measured, benchmarked and empirically improved. We're on a mission to help teams realize the tangible value that a more inclusive team can generate, even if it doesn't make us a dime.

Transparency

Over Obscurity

Sharing ideas, information and feedback openly, up, down and across organizations ensures that every voice is heard, and that everyone can contribute equally to DIB ideation, action and impact.

Accessibility

Over Gatekeeping

Democratizing DIB and HR means providing equal and open access to data, tools, tech and services, and ensuring their presentation is usable and accessible regardless of who you are and what makes you unique.

Inclusi-what?

IN · CLU · SI · FY: To live and lead in a way that recognizes and celebrates unique and dissenting perspectives while creating a collaborative and open-minded environment where everyone feels they truly belong. Inclusifying implies a continuous, sustained effort towards helping diverse teams feel engaged, empowered, accepted and valued.

Our Guiding Principles

The north stars that drive our behavior, help us make decisions and guide the spirit of inclusivity and belonging that define our team and outcomes

Create Accountability

Building a community where experts and team members can transparently share ideas, information and feedback will create a snowball effect that continually raises expectations for what it means to create an inclusive workplace.

Make a Positive Impact

We've seen the data and the results Inclusifying can create. Our goal is to automate and scale this practice to create a positive global impact that nobody can deny, focusing on the results first, and all other motivators second.

Be Open, Curious & Collaborative

We never stop wondering how something can be better, we never hesitate to respectfully share and listen to feedback, and we never stop trying to continuously improve by building on what we have, together.

Empower Others

Whether it's publishing new research, creating unprecedented access to HR tech and DIB automation tools, or taking a moment to advise an inquring mind, we go out of our way to give others the tools and perspectives to be successful.

Meet our Founders

Our mission means nothing without the people who live it every day. Meet the leaders and team members powering the Inclusify vision, and learn about ways you can get involved.
